Three weeks of daily wear, skull insole looks exactly like day one. Leather is aging nicely. Worth the price.

Ordered Monday, delivered Vancouver Thursday. Duty and tax were already handled at checkout — DHL just handed them over without a word, no customs paperwork waiting for me. Never had this experience with a European brand shipping to Canada before.

The box has a deep blue interior — you don't notice it until you lift the lid and it lines up with the insole colour. Small detail, but it's the kind of thing that separates a €280 shoe from a €120 one.

Compared all four M1 designs before choosing. Calavera is the one I kept coming back to. Arrived within a week from order.

Unfortunately, I don’t think this product justifies the price I paid. My main disappointment is the finishing quality, which, in my opinion, is well below expectations. The overall craftsmanship is average at best. In the same price range, you can find shoes on the market that are made with much better quality and attention to detail.

My suggestion would be to invest a little more in the production process, especially in the materials and finishing, because the design has potential and could be enhanced significantly.

I could have returned the shoes, but I chose not to. This review is simply my personal experience and opinion, and I hope it can be taken as constructive feedback.

Bought in March, worn most days since. The skull print looks identical to day one, no fading, no peeling. Leather has a faint patina now which I like. This is what you pay for with proper Italian leather — it ages instead of falling apart.

Expected end of May, got them June 8th. The shoes are great — Calavera artwork is beautiful and the leather is real — but I'd have liked an update email during the delay instead of chasing it myself. Just go in knowing pre-order dates can shift a little.

First pair felt snug, exchanged for one size up, now perfect. My only advice: actually open the size chart before ordering, don't just guess your usual. The shoe is excellent — skull insole is the boldest of the four and the print doesn't scratch off. Italian leather is the real thing.

Pre-ordered in April, shoes came late May. The Calavera insole prints sharper in person than on screen — the colors don't wash out. Leather is soft straight out of the box, no break-in. The wait wasn't an issue once they were on my feet.

First shipment got stuck somewhere and never showed. New brand, €280 on the line, I was nervous. Messaged them and they sent a second pair the same week without making me jump through hoops. It arrived fine. Skull insole is gorgeous, leather is genuinely premium. Honestly the way they handled the mess is why I ordered Yuki a week later.

After reading all the reviews from people who got their February pre-orders, I felt safe placing mine. Ordered Calavera last week, expected delivery end of May. The fact that you only pay when they ship made it an easy decision. Will update when they arrive.

Pre-ordered when I saw the Founding Edition framing — limited first run of 360 pairs, numbered, only available before the official launch. Felt like getting in early on something. Communication during the production phase was good, got two updates between order and shipping. The packaging was simple but the shoes inside are clearly premium. Calavera is the most detailed of the four insole designs in my opinion. The colors pop against the navy background and the printing quality is excellent.

I'm a Common Projects guy. Have three pairs in different colors. Got tired of paying €450 for what is essentially a clean white sneaker with a gold heel stamp. MICI is everything Common Projects is — same minimal silhouette, same quality of Italian leather, same clean white aesthetic — but at €280 and with the hidden insole concept that nobody else does. Calavera was my entry into the brand. The skull artwork is detailed, bold, and printed on quality material that won't fade. Two months in and they look exactly as new. Sole is slightly thinner than I'd like for long days but everything else is excellent. I'll be ordering a second pair soon.

Placed my pre-order on February 8th and was honestly nervous since this was a brand new label. Got an email update mid-March about production progress, and shipping notification on April 2nd. Shoes arrived in Berlin on April 5th. Everything they promised, delivered. Calavera insole is even better in person than in the photos.

Cousin in Hamburg has a pair, showed me, I was sold. Tried to order to Mumbai and you don't ship here. The concept is brilliant and the quality looks excellent. Please open up shipping to India, you have customers waiting.

Bought Calavera as a birthday gift. He's hard to shop for but these were a hit. He showed everyone the skull insole at the dinner. Quality is obvious — Italian leather, clean shape. Great gift idea.

Only complaint is that I now want the other three designs too. Calavera is the loudest of the four — if you want quieter, the Yuki goose might suit you better.

I work in fashion retail and I've handled a lot of leather. This is the genuine article — full grain, properly tanned, no plastic feel. The Italian construction shows in the edge finishing. Calavera was my pick because the artwork is the most detailed of the four.
