Yuki The Goose

Ordered Tuesday, delivered Friday. Nothing dramatic, just competent. Goose insole gets a laugh every time someone spots it.

Ordered from Zurich, landed at my door in two days via DHL. Big point for me: nothing owed at delivery. No follow-up letter from customs a week later, no doorbell surprise. Everything settled when I placed the order. That's the kind of transparency that turns a first order into a second.

First pair was a size too small. Sent them back with the return slip, tracked them, and the refund hit my card five days after MICI received them. Reordered a size up. That's about as painless as a return gets with a European brand.

I usually take EU 42 in Common Projects. Went with 42 here, came out slightly snug across the toe. Read their size chart before you order — they mark true-to-size but I'd size up if you're between. The goose insole is worth it either way.

Expected end of May, arrived June 20th. More proactive updates during the wait would've helped. That said — the goose insole doesn't peel or fade, the leather is the real Italian thing. Build in a buffer when you pre-order and you'll be fine.

Best case you have a great pair of sneakers.

Love the leather, love the goose, the only thing I'd change is a slightly thicker sole for long days walking. Otherwise these are excellent.

I respect that MICI didn't try to launch with 50 SKUs. Four designs, one shoe, all white. Forces them to do each one well. Yuki is mine and the quality justifies the focused approach.

The hidden goose is genius. White leather is clean and well made. Compliments every time I take them off.
